Help! Volunteers needed!!

We have been doing some research on how to plan a race.  We are thinking we will have our first business meeting in the next week or so.  We may do best to set up committees.  Here are some of the things we will need help with:

  • Get sponsors  (Parrott & Associates, Inc. has agreed to be our first sponsor!) - name on back of T and link on this website plus promotion on Facebook.  Ideas:  podiatrist, gyms, Forsyth County Schools, sports organizations, your business!!
  • T-shirt design, order
  • Registration volunteers
  • Map route
  • Flyers/marketing
  • Food, drinks, music
  • Mark & measure course
  • Timmer
  • Medals for winners
  • Active.com for online registration
  • Identify charity other than Fonda
  • Permits from city
  • Medical volunteers, water, ambulance?
  • Clean-up committee
